About Vetoquinol
Vétoquinol is a family-owned, independent company exclusively and passionately devoted to improving animal health and encompasses research and development, manufacturing, marketing and sales.
Since 1933, veterinarians have benefited from our acknowledged expertise in the fields of anti-infectives, anti-inflammatories, anti-parasitics and nutraceuticals. Based in France, Vétoquinol now supplies products in five continents, with a network of subsidiaries in fifteen countries and distributors in over eighty.
Becoming increasingly international, we are proud to have grown without betraying our core values. We remain independent – a humane company with a strong group spirit, striving to improve animal health and honouring our long-established ideals: social awareness, strong relationships and a passion for business combined with realism and determination.

Vetoquinol in the UK
The purpose built offices and warehouse at Great Slade, Buckingham, provide Vetoquinol UK with prestigious and modern offices for the head quarters of our UK operations.
The offices/ warehouse were designed to improve our facilities, with better parking for visitors and staff and even better access for deliveries.
The warehouse is approximately double the size of our old facility with dedicated areas for order picking, despatch, products and promotional items. Our Buckingham site is fully able to cope with current needs and requirements and has the ability to support future growth and expansion. The new site has been approved by the MHRA.
Our offices at Buckingham provide unrivalled meeting room facilities. We now have a training room/ conference room able to seat 30/ 40 delegates. Serviced by the latest technology and with a separate video conference suite and other smaller meeting rooms, we can now offer these state-of-the-art facilities to our customers and clinical clubs.

1982 |
Vétoquinol UK start up as a veterinary surgeon owned cooperative. |
1984 |
Galvet Ltd set up in Ireland. |
1985 |
Univet II restructured to Univet Ltd with majority
shareholders veterinary practices. |
1986 |
Univet Ltd moves to new premises in Bicester. |
1990 |
Vétoquinol acquired Univet with 100% shareholding in Vétoquinol SA. |
1995 |
Vétoquinol launches Marbocyl (marbofloxacin). |
1997 |
Univet and Galvet become Vétoquinol UK, renamed as Vétoquinol UK and Vétoquinol Ireland respectively. Vétoquinol UK takes over the management in Ireland. |
2001 |
Vétoquinol SA launches new ear treatment based on marbofloxacin (Aurizon). Vétoquinol group acquires the Chassot group which includes herbal products from IPA, equine products from Pharmedica and distribution of Tyco. |
2004 |
Vétoquinol moves to new offices in Buckingham. |
