Vétoquinol is a family-owned, independent company devoted exclusively and passionately to animal health. We are involved in research & development, manufacturing, and marketing and sales of medicines and nutraceuticals. Our product portfolio is equally divided between livestock such as cattle and pigs and companion animals such as dogs and cats and includes most therapeutic categories.

Vétoquinol trades throughout Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East and Pacific Asia. Through our subsidiaries, we have direct representation in sixteen countries employing 1223 people and an established distribution network in over eighty countries as of 31st December 2006.

Company Growth through core values

Vétoquinol fully intends to continue to grow. Through the people who work for us and their commitment to improving animal health, we can ensure both our survival and our independence. Vétoquinol has always had an eye to the future. We remain determined to satisfy the requirements of increasingly demanding veterinarians and animal owners, fight new diseases, provide innovative services and conquer new markets.

Controlled growth

Vetoquinol at Work

For 25 years, an implemented policy of sustained, realistic growth has helped us maintain international success. Thanks to this strategy, Vétoquinol has maintained the critical size necessary to see the best return on our production capabilities, wide sales network and investment in research & development. We are proud to have grown without ever betraying our core values. Our sales results in recent years demonstrate how well these methods are working with figures up an average of 14.5 % year on year, from 1998 to 2005.

Getting the best from our workforce

Vetoquinol at Work

Through commitment, realism and team spirit, we have developed the ability to incorporate differing viewpoints and identify specific targets. The key here is to respect the individual. When Vétoquinol takes over a company, we aim to support the existing workforce and encourage them to take an active part in the group’s policies. To make this process as simple as possible, Vétoquinol chooses its partners both for their expertise and their market success. Acquiring Chassot, whose turnover was half that of Vétoquinol, was pivotal to our expansion. Our synergy and shared strengths were immediately evident and resulted in a totally successful integration with Chassot directors now holding key positions within the Group.

The drive for successful growth

Vetoquinol at Work

From day one, Vétoquinol has striven to expand its field of operation. Today the group is a major presence in sixteen countries on two key continents, Europe and North America. We maintain a policy of constant market development, acquiring companies to add to our key areas of expertise and animal species we treat. The group is also open to partnerships and the mutual exchange of products or ideas designed to streamline working practices. Our far flung distribution network means Vétoquinol has sales office in eighty countries throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East and we are still expanding.
